چکیده
This survey was performed to aim of synthesize Nano emulsion from Ferula gummosa essential oil (FEGO-NE) and evaluate its anti-tumor effect. First, analyzed by GC–MS method, then the synthesized as O/W after characterization DLS, Zeta potential, AFM, FESEM TEM methods, toxicity evaluated MTT method. Then pro-apoptotic effects were qPCR (Caspase3, 9, Bax Bcl-2) method AO/PI staining. The cancer induction model used antitumor in Balb/C mice. anti-angiogenic antioxidant (VEGF, CAT SOD) results physicochemical studies showed formation droplet with dimensions 24.6 nm, dispersion index 0.41 zeta potential ? 28.5 mV a spherical morphology. at concentration 2.9 ?g/mL inhibited about 50% ht-29 cells, while up 4 no inhibitory effect on normal cells. Increase caspase 3, 9 decrease BCL-2 gene expression along increase apoptotic cells AP/PI staining confirmed apoptosis FEGO-NE. FEGO-NE an angiogenesis additive genes. In addition, reduction tumor volume (69.72% 14 days) samples treated confirmed. this study that various mechanisms are able inhibit have reducing induced tumors vivo model. These suggest FEGO-NEs suitable candidate for therapy studies.

Objective: Pelargonium roseum Willd.(Geraniaceae) is widely grown as an ornamental plant due to its strong pleasant rose-like odor. The present study evaluates the antitrichomonal effect of P. roseum essential oil (EO) against Trichomonas gallinae both in vitro and in vivo and compares it to that of metronidazole (MTZ) as a standard antitrichomonal drug. Materials and Methods: In vitro assays w...
متن کاملAntiepileptic Potential and Composition of the Fruit Essential Oil of Ferula Gummosa boiss
The fruit essential oil of Ferula gummosa boiss., Umbelliferae, which has been used as an antiepileptic remedy in Iranian traditional medicine, was evaluated for anticonvulsant activity against experimental seizures. The essential oil had no effect against seizures induced by maximal electroshock. However, it protected mice against pentylenetetrazole-induced tonic seizures. The protective dose ...
